Canal Crossing is located in the up-and-coming Hamden, CT neighborhood, next to the very desirable Whitneyville. We saw that as a ripe opportunity to draft off the attractiveness of its neighbor, and transform the brand positioning for Canal Crossing into ‘Whitneyville West’. We devised an identity steeped in the nostalgic railroad heritage of the locale and brought the development to life in train ticket-themed business cards and stationery; a website with community renderings; and online, print and outdoor advertising.
