Primary is seeking a technical leader who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty for our integrated marketing agency. You’ll be responsible for managing our web team and delivering front-end development of responsive websites with user-friendly design and clear navigation using both static and dynamic content. In addition to delivering premium web products for our clients and Primary, you will have a seat at the table to help set the course for our growing agency.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the vision for agency web projects. Serving as a technical advisor to our clients, proactively leading them through processes, recommending best-in-class solutions and ensuring their objectives are achieved
  • Staying abreast of web trends and technology
  • Defining long-term structure of web team
  • Attend client meetings to learn the wants and needs of their project prior to development
  • Help identify and drive internal alignment around the appropriate requirements for a project that meet client business objectives
  • Work directly with UX/UI designers to evaluate design prototypes for responsive/interaction design, feasibility, and usability
  • Assess each project to help determine the best development workflow / framework / tools for the job

Qualifications

  • Degree from accredited University, College or Technical Institute
  • 10+ years of related experience, agency experience a plus
  • 3+ years of management experience preferred
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage priorities and time accordingly
  • Resourcefulness and an ability to work both independently and in small teams
  • Experience building custom websites utilizing CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with task-runners such as Grunt and Gulp
  • Familiarity with web-application frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue
  • Ability to code CMS themes, templates and design systems from scratch
  • Experience using Git + Github for collaboration and version control
  • Extensive experience with multiple CMS platforms
  • Firm knowledge of responsive design, web standards and best practices
  • Working knowledge of back-end development languages a plus

This person would be both a strategic partner to our clients as well as a leader of the Primary team in designing and developing digital engagements – including websites, email, and integrated campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the entire process for digital engagements, including project plans, timelines, and budgets with both clients and internal teams

The 3D Architectural Designer will be proficient in 3D Studio Max and VRay to create photorealistic renderings and animations for use in our clients’ marketing campaigns. Post production skills in Photoshop are a plus. The 3D Architectural Designer will work alongside other 3D Architectural Designers in a team environment. A sophisticated eye for design and realistic textures and lighting is a must. Must follow agency workflow and file management protocol.
